Visa Application Process

Follow these steps to apply for a Korean visa before attending MSB 2026.

STEP 01

Choose Your Application Method

You can apply online via the e-Visa Portal or visit a Korean Embassy / Consulate in your country.

STEP 04

Submit Your Application

Submit via the online portal (www.visa.go.kr) or in person at the nearest Korean diplomatic mission. Processing typically takes 3–5 business days.

STEP 05

Receive Your Visa

Once approved, you can confirm your visa issuance via the Portal. Print or save the confirmation and present it at entry.

How to Apply: Two Methods

Choose the method that applies to your country and visa type.

Method A

e-Visa via Online Portal

  1. Visit www.visa.go.kr and select "Application" > "E-Visa / Individual".
  2. The application must be submitted by the foreigner or a sponsor on their behalf.
  3. Complete the online form and upload required documents.
  4. Pay the visa fee online and submit.
  5. Track your application status on the portal.
Available for eligible visa types including Short-term (C-3), Employment (E-1 to E-7), and others. Refer to the Visa Navigator on the portal for your specific category.

Apply at a Korean Embassy / Consulate

  1. Find the nearest Korean Embassy or Consulate in your country.
  2. Download and complete the visa application form.
  3. Gather all required documents (passport, photo, invitation letter, etc.).
  4. Submit your application in person or by mail.
  5. Collect your visa once processing is complete.
Citizens of countries without an e-Visa agreement, or those applying for certain visa categories, must apply through the Korean diplomatic mission.
